GREG TURNER
Golf Tour of New Zealand is a new initiative conceived by Greg Turner, one of NZ's most successful touring professionals. Greg has always been both passionate about, and a strong advocate of, New Zealand golf. Having traveled extensively and won tournaments in NZ, Australia, Asia and Europe, Greg has seen what other countries have done to develop their elite players. Given New Zealand's fantastic potential he felt the urgent need to address some key issues. Greg will be part and parcel of GTNZ's management and service both prior to and during events.

DAVID MOORE
Also involved is ex-pat corporate high flier David Moore. Moore is based in London however continues to have a strong interest in New Zealand. His companies are involved in sports promotion; mostly motor racing. He has been manager of formula one driver and World Champion Jacques Villeneuve.

PHIL AICKIN
Phil Aickin recently joined the GTNZ team following 12 years working for the New Zealand Golf Association. As one of New Zealand's former leading amateur players and our most experienced Tournament Director he adds considerable value to this strong combination. Since 1998 he has been at the helm of all our leading tournaments, including the flagship event The New Zealand Open. Phil's intimate knowledge of course set up, rules, handicapping, course ratings, event management and high performance adds significant value to this initiative. Phil will assist with course preparation, set up, draws, rules and oversee the golfing success of the event.
